Animatics?
An animatic is a moving story board.
Story Board?A story board is a graphic organizers. For example a series of illustrated images displayed in sequence.
Why Is It Needed?
- A story Board helps to pre-visualize a motion, animation, motion, graphic or interactive media sequence.
- Saves money and time
- A preview on how the script flows.
- Animatics helps to test whether the sound and images are working together effectively.
This is the story board for our opening scence to our movie 'Release Date'. In order to put this story board together, we had to think of what shots we wanted, if we wanted a close up shot, wide shot, point of view, over the shouder shot etc.
